How do I make an appointment?

RK Bridal is a walk-in store. Therefore, we do not take any appointments. Regardless if you come in on weekdays or weekends, it's best to come in early. Service is important to us and we do get busy. If you’re coming into the store to try on bridal gowns for the first time, you will be required to sign in upon arrival in person.

Showroom Hours:

Monday- Friday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Must be in before 5:00PM to sign-in)
Saturday: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Must be in before 12:00PM to sign-in)
Sunday: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Must be in before 12:00PM to sign-in)

Are you an authorized retailer of the designers on-site?

RK Bridal is an authorized retailer of all the designers and collections featured on our website and in our store.

How do I order?

To make an online purchase: Click on the product that you would like to purchase; Select style, size, color and any additional options, Click “Add to Shopping Bag” in the upper right hand corner of your screen to complete the checkout process. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when the order is placed with the manufacturer. If you require additional assistance, contact our customer service department at 212-947-1155. If you do not receive your confirmation e-mail, please call the store.

How does the online “No Frills” program work?

You are responsible for the dress style, the color, and the size(s) ordered. Please use the corresponding manufacturer’s size chart provided on our website. There will be no in store pick-ups allowed. All NO FRILLS orders will ship to the address(s) you provide. All NO FRILLS orders are final sales and cannot be cancelled, exchanged, modified, or refunded. Please find a summary of our No Frills Program HERE.

How does the “Match Price “Program work?

All match price inquiries must be submitted before the order is placed to verify the price(s).

At the time of placing your order, we require a print out of the website/company that you would like us to match price with. We will verify if the company is an authorized retailer/seller of the manufacturer to honor the matched price. Also, make sure there are no hidden fees or additional charges the company is not displaying until checkout. We will charge the same amount as the company that we are matching for any additional charges, for example; rush fees, extra size, extra length, shipping and handling. We will not match price after an order has been submitted. We will not match price with any off-shore online companies. **Please note that we will not match price with websites that do not insure your dress shipping or websites that do not process customer orders right away. Many online websites will show a lower price and require the customer to pay more money for regular delivery. What is your return policy?

All sales are final. Due to the nature of the bridal industry, we cannot accommodate exchanges or refunds under any circumstances. In addition, our vendors are unable to cancel or make any changes or modifications to any order once it has been placed. Please be sure of the style, size, color, and any other specifications before submitting your order. Modifications to an order must be in writing within 48 hours. Ability to make changes vary with each manufacturer and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for confirming if your fax or e-mail change request has been received. Can I order swatches?

Swatches can be ordered at the time of order. Swatches are available for bridesmaid’s dresses only. We cannot order swatches for bridal gowns. Swatches take approximately 2-3 weeks to be delivered. Swatches are $5 per swatch. We cannot guarantee the availability, the sizes, and dye lot of these swatches.

Can I order fabric?

Fabric can be ordered. It is best to order fabric at the same time you order your dress(s). Minimum order for fabric is 1 yard. Please be aware that fabric orders are not cut at the same time as the dress order and may be cut from a different bolt of material, which can result in dye lot variation. Please use corresponding order form for the manufacturer.

Can I have alterations at RK Bridal?

Customers that have purchased their dresses in the store through our Full-Service program have the option of having alterations done with RK Bridal at an additional fee. We require a specific window of time prior to the wedding/event before we can offer alterations. The following prices are for basic alterations only:

  • Bridal gown alterations are $650-$750 & under.
  • Mother-Of gowns are $200 & under with-out a jacket. With a jacket $250 & under.
  • Bridesmaids alterations are $70 & under. Dresses that have sequins, beading or lace are $100+

  • Customization is not included in the cost of basic alterations. Any customization to a dress will cost extra and will be priced by our experienced tailors.
    We do not provide alterations for online orders. We suggest contacting a professional seamstress/tailor in your area experienced in bridal and formal gowns.

    How do I decide what size to order?

    Each manufacturer has their own size chart, which reflects how they cut their dresses. Please view the Size Charts on our site. It is important that you follow the individual designer's chart to determine your size.
    Have your measurements taken by a qualified tailor to determine the closest size to be ordered. Almost every gown will need some type of adjustment to get a perfect fit. If no formal tailor is available, check with your local dry cleaners. Many of them now have in store tailoring. Prior to selecting your size to order, we suggest reviewing the information provided on our “How to Measure” page. The designer will be unable to accommodate any changes to the size once the order has been placed.

    RK Bridal will not assume any responsibility for errors in customer measurements when ordering online. We are unable to assist in measurements or the selection of a size.

    What is the delivery time for orders?

    Most Bridal gowns take 14-16 weeks for the designer to deliver the gowns to our location. Bridal gowns with a rush order take 6-10 weeks. There are times that a manufacturer may have a gown in stock for quicker delivery. For bridesmaids, flower girl and mother of the bride dresses the delivery time is 10-14 weeks. Dresses with a rush order 5-8 weeks. Manufactures do not guarantee their delivery dates since production can vary. There are certain manufacturers that may offer a Rush Delivery, which can take 2-6 weeks. All Rush orders are an additional charge, which will vary per manufacturer.     What is a Rush Order?

    Most of our designers offer Rush Delivery for orders that have been placed in a time frame that falls short of their standard production schedule. Bridal gown delivery for Rush orders is approximately 6 - 10 weeks dependent on the manufacturer's schedule. For bridesmaids, mother of and flower girl dresses Rush delivery is 5-8 weeks. The fee for the Rush service is dependent on the designer and will display on the order form and added to your total price. Rush service is not available for all designers.

    When should I place my order?

    Please place your order as far as in advance of your wedding date as possible. By doing so, you will allow sufficient time for production and shipping. It also affords you a comfortable time frame to accommodate any alterations if necessary.
    Note: designers periodically discontinue their styles without advance notice.

    How can I try-on or see the gowns before I order?

    You are welcome to visit our New York location. RK Bridal does not carry every style displayed on our website. You will need to locate a retailer in your area that offers the designer and particular style you are interested in. We strongly suggest viewing the gown(s) before ordering since all sales are final and cannot be cancelled.

    Can I order directly from the Manufacturer?

    Designers only accept orders from authorized retailers such as RK Bridal and will not accept orders directly from a customer. Designers also do not communicate directly with customers regarding order statuses. Order information is only given to authorized retailers.

    How do I pay?

    The payment of your online order is due in full at the point of purchase. In-store orders, we do a 50% deposit when placing the order and the balance is paid at the time of in store pick up or shipping. We do not offer any payment programs. RK Bridal accepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

    RK Bridal cannot refund any portion of your payment or accommodate any exchanges.

    Is there a charge for sales tax?

    New York customers are subject to New York State sales tax. There is no sales tax on all orders shipped outside of New York State.

    How will I be notified of my order status?

    Upon submission of your order, you will receive an email confirmation from us within 72 hours. If you have not received one by then please contact us to insure your contact information is correct.

    What if my payment is declined?

    Orders are not processed if the payment is declined. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the Customer Service Department if their payment is declined. We will then verify the payment status and instruct our customer to resubmit the order.

    Why can't I get an exact shipping date instead of an estimated shipping date?

    Manufacturers do not guarantee their ship dates since their production can vary. Ship dates are approximate and subject to change. Manufacturers provide retailers with estimated shipping dates, which we in turn provide to our customers.

    Do you ship outside the U.S.?

    RK Bridal does ship worldwide! Orders shipped outside the continental U.S. are sent via the United States Post Office Global Express Mail. Shipping charges are based on the country, weight of the package, and size of the package. Please note our shipping rates cover our cost to ship a large box to other countries. It does not cover any customs or duty charges imposed on the receiver of the package.

    How long is shipping from your location to me?

    Orders shipping from our location normally take 2 - 7 business days for domestic delivery. International delivery can take 7 – 14 days for delivery. This may vary according to the United States Post Office's schedule. Please Note: Delivery may run faster than these time frames and the shipping company will notify the customer via email with a tracking number.

    Can I request upgraded shipping?

    You may select upgraded shipping by calling 1-212-947-1155 and speaking with one of our sales representatives. Please note expedited delivery refers to the shipping from our location to your specified shipping address. It does not affect the time frame for the designer to deliver your order to our location.     Can I pick up my order at RK Bridal?

    Your online order will be mailed to the address submitted. Unfortunately, online orders cannot be picked up at our RK Bridal store.

    What if I don't see the designer or product I'm interested in?

    We will make every effort to find you the product you are looking for. If you do not see what you are looking for on our site please call 212-947-1155 and a customer service representative will be happy to assist you.

    Can I have a picture of the gown?

    The available pictures are as posted on our website. We do not have additional pictures to send out to customers.

    Are these used dresses?

    All gowns and products are new authentic merchandise obtained directly from the designer. We do not accept or offer resale items.
